Finally got round 1 of the Member Member Match Play in the books.  Will publish results as soon as all rounds are complete.

The MGA Range Day has been scheduled for March 3rd from 3:30 to 4:30PM – sign up in the Pro-shop

We have introduced the Walden Challenge Competition this week, see the “Latest News” Article for details.

I hope everyone is finding it easy to navigate the site, if you do not want to mess with updating your directory page we can do it for you – simply email the details you want in your directory to waldenmga@gmail.com and include a picture if you want it included in your directory page.

Well February has been a tough month for scheduling and the weather!  Both the MGA Range Day and now the Member – Member Match Play Tournament have been affected.  We have  reset the Tournament to February 18th and 19th but obviously changing dates at the last minute has resulted in several people being unable to reschedule and we apologize for the lost opportunity these folks have encountered.

We will reset the Range Day at this week’s Board meeting and advise everyone of the next attempt.

Our Web Site is up and running and I hope everyone is finding it useful and easy to navigate.

The Year has gotten off to a great start, we had an excellent turnout for our first tournament

and just released our plans for the MGA Range Days for this year.  All current members got

an invite to the first Range Day which is scheduled for February 4th.

Our next Tournament is coming up fast – the Member – Member Match play.  There will only

be eight teams per flight so after Saturday / Sunday Competition there will only be one more

match to play.  I encourage everyone to sign up early – we almost filled up in January!

The web site is going through final checks – we will be sending out login and password info

to 2012 MGA members shortly to enable you to get into the protected areas of the site.

Save April 3rd on your calendar – we are planning our first MGA social – the Master’s

Drafting Party at the Cafe.

Thanks for this great sign-up – should be lots of fun.

There is still time to sign up to play – if you don’t have a partner just call the pro-shop and sign up as a single and they will match up the singles as best they can – this is a great way to meet new people!

Don’t forget to let the pro-shop know which tees you plan to play – you and your partner do not need to play from the same tees.

Remember – this is a flighted tournament – so you will be competing with golfers of similar talent.

If you haven’t joined the MGA for 2012 – please fill out the attached application and bring it with you with yours dues on Saturday.
