Captain’s update 5-12-12

Once again we were victorious! We played, and soundly defeated, Elkins Lake 23.5 to 6.5 in our home match on May 10^th.

With just 2 weeks remaining in the first half of the season we maintained our slim hold on first place. The standings remain tight:

King wood Lake 18

Kingwood Marsh 17

Raveneaux 16

With 2 wins we hold on to first! Needless to say we need to play hard away at River Plantation this week and then at home on the 24^th against Kingwood Marsh.

The team leaders this week were:

1^st Carter/Harris 60 (score card playoff net 3 on 3)

2^nd Reinhart/Wood 60

3^rd Grundstein/Ordner 63 ( net 3 on 1)

 Brunjes/Kurtas 63

It was good to see former Walden member Ed Gray playing for Elkins Lake. He even was part of the Elkins Lake low net team with a 64!
