At Home, Davy Jones and Rick Hare had a really close match, playing from the Blue Tees!- BUT, they played hard on the back, and edged out a narrow victory.
Richard Lee and John Mock really pulled us through with great play, and our team managed a split – YES 72-72 vs the 2nd place Kingwood Team.
We have to fight it out and hold onto 1st place to ensure our #1 Seed for the playoffs starting in late June. PLAY HARD guys.
We also welcome Wood Forest to our Interclub; they began play today, and we look forward to playing them on May 29th! Davy & Rick vs Kingwood 5-12 Davy Jones Richard Lee & John Mock vs Kingwood 5-12 Rick Hare

Next up is the Member Guest Tournament May 18th thru the 20th – always a lot of fun.

Our next MGA Tournaments are three flighted stroke play events in June, July and August, these three rounds are part of the Walden Challenge competition so after these rounds are in we should see some tightening up the leader board.

Course is in great shape – hope everyone has lots of opportunities to get out and play.
